Falsterbo Peninsula is a magnificent experience

Hiking around the Falsterbo Peninsula is a magnificent experience thanks to the combination of sea, sand and wide open spaces on Skåne’s southwestern point. The hike is 31 km long and starts in Ljunghusen at the crossroads where Falsterbovägen meets Storvägen. On your hike though the peninsula’s unique landscape you pass medieval churches, museums and old fishing huts from a time when Skanör and Falsterbo were a central marketplace in Northern Europe. You can enjoy fresh delicacies from the sea in Skanörs harbor and look out for seals on the Måkläppen sandbank. It is a walk that offers many surprises.
